Responsibilities

TheElectronic Technical Qualifications Program Administrator (TC)maintains the National Training Center (NTC) electronic database that supports the administration of the Technical Qualification Program (TQP) at DOE sites.

  • Inputs General Technical Base, Functional Area, and site/office/facility qualification standards and qualification cards into the eTQP application

  • Monitors entry of assigned TQP participants into the eTQP application for qualification/requalification

  • Provides training to DOE site TQP managers and staff members

  • Monitors the status, tracking, and reporting of qualifications to the site and program level

  • Maintains the approved qualifying official database

  • Supports site TQP audits, assessments, and accreditation

  • Maintains the TQP competency to NTC course matrix

  • Coordinates with NTC Information Systems and Analysis (IS&A) team members to update and expand eTQP application functionality

  • Assists the eTQP Program Manager as needed

  • Applies and follows basic safety and security concepts and policies

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D.

  • A minimum of three years of advanced administrative support position directly related or comparable to the position and which equipped the applicant/incumbent with the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the necessary functions of this position

  • Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college, university, business, or technical-vocational school

  • Learning Management System (LMS) data input experienceKnowledge of DOE Order 426.1B, Change 1,Federal Technical Capability

  • Knowledge of required TQP training needs at DOE sites
