Green Insight, LLC HERS Rater in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Position DescriptionGreen Insight is a LEED for Homes Provider with offices in New Mexico and Colorado. We make homes more efficient and comfortable through rigorous application of building science. We work on all types of homes including single-family detached, multifamily buildings, and townhomes, but our focus is larger, multi-unit properties. Most of our work is new construction, but we also work on existing homes. The work of a HERS Rater is varied and challenging.The HERS Rater works under the direct supervision of a Project Manager, conducting building takeoffs, energy modeling, inspections, and performance tests (blower door, duct leakage testing, etc.) to produce a home energy rating. The HERS Rater assists the LEED for Homes Green Rater in inspection and documentation of some LEED checklist items. The HERS Rater will also be expected to pitch in on various administrative tasks. The HERS Rater spends roughly 50% of their time in the field and 50% in the office, depending on project cycles.Green Insight works with passion for excellent customer service, unwavering integrity, and accountability for us and others.
