Equifax, Inc. Enterprise Account Director in Albany, New York

The Enterprise Account Director position is a leadership role that oversees and directs the execution of all Equifax sales efforts for their targeted accounts. The Enterprise Account Director has client engagement accountability across all Equifax lines of business, similar to a CEO of the Client Relationship with Equifax and directs the business strategy for key clients within the Major Accounts portfolio. Annual revenue responsibility varies within the book of business supported by the Enterprise Account Director; portfolio size is largely driven by employer clients headcount. Account Directors are focused on retention and growth of the largest Major Accounts. The Enterprise Account Director is accountable for end to end account selling and will partner with the Customer Success Manager to retain and grow a major account portfolio.

**What you'll do:**

- Provide strategic vision and detailed account plan for the account portfolio
- Partner and provide strategic guidance for Customer Success Manager using tools such as Negotiating with Backbone to coach the account team to individual goal attainment, personal and professional growth, while supporting our desired go to market strategy
- Build and implement an insights-based, client-specific go-to-market strategy that enables cross-sell and retention opportunities; a proven business problem solver, with a mind to understand process and technology
- Strong forecasting and pipeline management skills; identify client solutions and develop and recommend action plans to the cross functional teams and SLT that strengthen our relationship with a client
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals in their portfolio, driving growth through new cross-sell opportunities, accurate forecasting and both new business and renewal pipeline management
- Develop both short term and long term enterprise account plans; proactively identifies and anticipates customer requirements, expectations and needs
- Demonstrates and applies knowledge about relevant industries, markets, economic trends and customer value drivers
- Searches actively for ways Equifax can contribute to customer profitability; represents the voice of the customer within the company
- Build and maintain strategic, client relationships with executives at C level; act as the principal contact for the client, conducting business reviews to explore and deliver solutions that fit the clients needs
- Effectively navigates Equifax to identify and influence extended network of stakeholders; leverage well honed leadership and sales skills in addition to NwB and Insight Selling Techniques
- Participate in cross functional teams focused on delivering growth
- Influence NPI, bringing new ideas and solutions to the forefront; influence the Partner strategy within Employer Services, working with the Alliances team
- Participate in management and EGI meetings periodically to ensure a continued and clear understanding of trends, client needs, and perceptions of the vertical
- Engage in social selling techniques, that allow for additional Equifax insights to be shared with client connections

**What experience you need:**

- 7-10 years business experience with time spent in strategic level client facing sales and/or solution roles
- Bachelors Degree, preferred

**What could set you apart:**

- Proven success and/or abilities in solution selling and consultative approach. Experience in end-to-end, multi-product solution selling preferred
- Formulate and execute with excellence both a detailed strategy and short term tactical plan for creating in-depth relationships with current and prospective clients in the assigned accounts.
- Ability to negotiate and close both new business and renewal business opportunities
- A thorough understanding of C-level client executive working challenges and relationship strategies a plus
- Outstanding critical thinking skills with the ability to work within a matrix structure and cross functional teams
- Direct sales, client facing account management and marketing experience required
- A expert understanding of the working challenges of C-level client executives and the needs of their business/industry
- Experience in strategic deal management, coaching, negotiation and pricing/contract/RFP terms and conditions is essential
- Ability to work and think individually and collectively while working within a matrix structure and in cross functional teams
- Proven oral and written communication, time-management and interpersonal skills
- Superb client facing presentation skills, including the delivery of value based messaging
- Superior organization skills and ability to self-start, with high energy and creative ability
- Tolerance for ambiguity
- Full PC literacy, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Travel UP TO 60% of the time, required
- Special projects, as requested
