This position is based in APG, MD. Relocation will be considered on a case by case basis.


  • Manage smaller projects and support specific projects within large programs relative to the customer and product lines.

  • Interface with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and Quality to support on time delivery

  • Support product help desk request, coordinate with customers to identify issue(s)and lead internal resolution investigations

  • Lead commercial product(s) and other spare quotes preparation

  • Lead the development of White Paper(s), Technical Volume(s) and Statements of Work

  • Lead proposal preparation including, analyzes of customer Requests for Proposals (RFP) and advises management and proposal team of RFP cost and/or price requirements, Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) deficiencies, and potential risks

  • Provide concise reports to management on status, potential issues, risks, and solution recommendations

  • Lead information gathering for new Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA) and other import export license(s) as required

  • Business skills and business knowledge required. Complete understanding and current knowledge of industry practices is required.

  • Must be skilled in managing a fair work load and obtaining results, taking on additional responsibility, managing priorities and developing work procedures

  • Must be accomplished at targeting and achieving results, goal setting, prioritizing tasks, overcoming obstacles, establishing team standards and responsibilities and creating a results-focused environment

  • Must be proficient in accuracy and attention to detail, commitment to quality standards, making continuous improvements, measuring and monitoring quality levels, owning and acting on quality problems

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management


  • A Bachelors degree is required, STEM fields preferred

  • 3 years experience as a Program Manager or direct related experience in a DoD contractor company

  • Must be able to travel a significant portion of time supporting customer demonstrations, can be up to 75% or more at times.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    Active Secret level preferred, TSSCI highly preferred

    DoD Professional Experience can be considered: i.e. US Military, DoD Officer, and/or NCO experience can substitute with relevant job experience.
