Parsons Corporation Fielding Coordinator in Aberdeen, Maryland

Parsons is seeking a Fielding Coordinator to support on-going systems development, fielding and product support for Army Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (CRAM) Radar systems at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. This position includes opportunities to influence the Army’s next generation of radar systems and technologies and support to Soldiers and units operating and maintaining these systems.


  • Provide fielding planning coordination, and management for Army Radar systems.

  • Primary responsibilities include pre-fielding planning, scheduling and on-site coordination for the delivery of training and technical materials for radar systems and maintaining oversight for the training and fielding activities associated with those systems.

  • Develop and execute developmental and proficiency training for fielding team personnel and for Army Radar systems. Training will be delivered primarily to U.S. Army combat units and their assigned Field Support Representatives.


  • H.S. diploma and 15 years of fielding and training experience required

  • OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field or 7 years’ experience in the development, integration, and implementation of platform instruction and computer-based training for Radar systems.

  • 5 years’ experience supporting the integration of training solutions and technologies into operational processes and lesson plans with particular attention to support for new equipment fielding

  • Experience coordinating and conducting hand-off procedures for systems to be added to the gaining units’ property book via Global Combat Support System-Army GCCS-A through the Brigade (BDE) Property Book Officer (PBO)

  • Experience and understanding of DoD 5000 acquisition and required logistics documentation

  • Recent hands-on experience planning, coordinating, and managing fielding and de-fielding activities for Army systems

  • Experience developing and conducting Army New Material Introductory Brief.

  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to work on multi-functional teams

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint

  • Excellent communications, problem-solving and coordination skills

  • An active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance is required, which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
