Aerotek Apply For Production Worker Position (Pay $15.50/ $16.50 Per Hour) in Abbotsford, British Columbia

We are hiring Production Workers for a food production/manufacturing plant located in Abbotsford, BC.

Responsibilities may include:

• Machine operating

• Packaging and boxing materials

• Stacking

• Loading/unloading materials on to machines

• Quality Control

• Labeling

• Stacking products on to pallets

Requirements & Skills:

• 6+ months experience working in some form of production/manufacturing shop

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs repetitively

• Communicate, read and write in English language effectively

**Candidates with no Canadian work experience will be considered

We currently have multiple Shifts Available to hire for:

Sunday to Thursday shifts to choose from:

  1. 10:00AM - 6:30PM

  2. 1:30PM - 10:00PM

  3. 3:30PM - 12:00AM

  4. 6:30PM - 3:00AM

  5. 7:00PM - 3:30AM

  6. 8:00PM - 4:30AM

  7. 9:30PM - 6:00AM

  8. 10:00PM - 6:30AM

  9. 3:00AM - 11:30AM

You will get to choose which full time shift you request if still available.

Please DO NOT apply if you can not work full time hour. Shifts times do not change or rotate. You will continue working on the same shift time given at the start of Employment/Hire date.

Compensation Details:

• $15.50 per hour (day shift/afternoon shift rate)

• $16.50 per hour (night shift rate after 8:00pm to 6:00am)

• Rate increases to $17.00 and $19.00 per hour as you gain more experience and learn new skills on the production floor post 3 month probationary period.

• 4% vacation pay

• Benefits will start immediately once employment commences. No wait period for health and dental benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of each month Employer provides 50% premium coverage on all benefit packages.

Job Location:

Abbotsford, BC

Must have reliable transportation as some shifts may not be transit accessible.
